About No Dirty Business

No Dirty Business is a small family owned business located in Cary NC, in operation since 2007.

No Dirty Business was started after our youngest daughter was diagnosed with asthma and started on five different medications. I began research to find a way to help our daughter's symptoms and reduce the number of medications she was taking. Shocked and alarmed to learn about indoor air pollution I found it hard to believe that my nice clean home was more polluted than the outside air, and how this contributes to pollution of streams and rivers. I decided to start making my own cleaning products and was amazed at how well they worked. I would like to share my products with others that want to make their home and environment a safer place.

No Dirty Business is built on the formula R2CH, which stands for:

Responsibility & Respect (R2), Caring, and Honesty.

Responsibility - to minimize chemicals people are exposed to on a daily basis
Respect - our environment and the creatures that share our planet
Caring - enough to make a difference by offering safer alternatives
Honesty - listing all the ingredients in our products

Our goals :

Provide safer alternatives to commercial cleaning products.
Help reduce the number of chemicals used in the average home and washed into our water supply.
Eliminate the need for synthetic air fresheners.
Educate people about the hazards of commercial cleaning products.
Improve air quality in homes and businesses, in hope of reducing the incidence of Occupation Induced Asthma.
Use supplies that are made in the USA, and packaging made of recycled materials.
Promote recycling by offering incentives to return bottles for reuse.
Offer concentrate forms of products to help reduce packaging requirements.
